Musée d’Orsay

The Musée d'Orsay presents Western art from the period 1848-1914. Its collections include both masterpieces of painting, including those of the masters of Impressionism, sculpture, decorative arts , photography Millet, Courbet, Carpeaux, Manet, Monet, Morisot, Renoir, Degas, Cézanne, Rodin, Gauguin, Van Gogh, Gallé, Guimard, Redon, Moreau, Vuillard, Bonnard, Maillol… The greatest artists of the second half of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century are represented.Housed in a former train station, the Musée d'Orsay is located in the center of Paris, on the left bank of the Seine, opposite the Louvre Museum and the Jardin des Tuileries in which is the Musée de l'Orangerie.
