About Petit Palais

Located between the Seine and the Champs-Élysées, the Petit Palais is part of an exceptional monumental environment. An architectural jewel built by Charles Girault for the Universal Exhibition of 1900 with the Grand Palais and the Pont Alexandre III, the Petit Palais becomes the Museum of Fine Arts to house the rich collections of the City of Paris in 1902. The collections offer a wide artistic panorama, from Antiquity to the beginning of the 20th century. A true haven of peace, its interior garden welcomes visitors, its café-restaurant allows them to take a pleasant break. The bookstore-boutique located on the ground floor offers art books, stationery and gifts. FREE ENTRANCE.
